Relationships are very important in this life. No one is an island, we live and survive on connections. There are healthy and unhealthy relationships. Healthy relationship promotes your well-being and support your growth - emotionally, physically, financially, and even spiritually. Cultivating real life healthy relationship is therefore not an easy task.
Long-tern relationship is not a quick fix. It is a long process of commitment, consistency and tolerance that requires deliberate focus, on-going love, respect and effective communication. We indeed make sense of our lives through healthy relationships - our family, friends, casuals and even business acquaintances. When some one lacks joy and inner peace and shows signs of unhappiness, it is usually a show of lack of close relationships. Our connections and relationships in life have a way of touching us first in unique ways.
My life has been made through very close and meaningful relationships. My family impacted my life meaningfully in many unique ways. I can't forget my lovely dad - a man of many parts, he taught me to love work, be disciplined, and be result oriented. He insisted to always get things done and never say something is impossible, time is going, do it, a stitch in time saves nine, he always insisted. My mum and siblings were very close and dear to my heart.
Now, as a adult, my husband is a very special part of my life. I have known him for about 32yrs and have been married for close to 25years - guess that is no joke . He is a special friend indeed. Together as Christians have walked the bible path in the last 30 years. We share some very close friends together who have impacted our lives positively. We are really blessed by them. Our church congregation also form a strong relationship with us. Life is a chain of connections.
